I'm 100 pages into writing my first LitRPG book, which features a US Army Staff Sergeant from the Big Red One transported to my Great Undead War alternate WWI universe . Pretty happy with it so far, especially the fact that it is coming along so quickly.

300 pages into my editing pass (out of 518) and I'm pretty pleased with most of it so far. A few cuts, a few words changed, but the rewrite seems to have done the trick!

Finished American Rapture by C.J. Leede last night. Fantastic read - captures the personality of a teen sheltered by a religious community near perfectly. The fact that the story is set in the midst of an apocalyptic viral outbreak that turns people into ravenous sex fiends is icing on the cake.

Completed the rough draft of the first book in a middle grade non-fiction series I'm going to be independently publishing, highlighting interesting people, places and events from history.

First up, "Tell Me About: The Red Baron."

Reread Mira Grant's Rolling in the Deep last night. Fabulous take on the hunt for mermaids. As good the second time as the first!

Started watching Territory on Paramount last night. Family fight for control of the largest cattle station in Australia. Stars Ann Torv and Robert Taylor. 2 episodes in, mixed feelings so far.

"He moved through the night like a ghost; passing from tree to tree, shadow to shadow, hiding from the watchful eyes of those who hunted him."
