If this is true then the attempt is likely to blow up in Hegseth's face pretty spectacularly, but this Admiral had to know that the first strike was also illegal and he ordered it anyway so who knows 🤷

Yeah, glen youngkin won VA in 2021 by ~1.5 and he was getting like +80 in rural areas. 5 pt shift left in rurals would hose the GOP in all but the reddest states. 10 pt shift and they lose everywhere except places like Alabama and WV. I'm a doomer by nature, but this is bullish for Dems.

Notably, he isn't unequivocally saying he didn't give a double tap order so I'm guessing he is worried about documentation that might leak. Good chance that bus is gonna be coming for Hegseth soon.
