The main point of the difference in the offer was that we missed:
- More backend/architectural experience
- More infrastructure experience
- Not yet ready for coaching less experienced colleagues.

As those are key to the senior role at our company, we decided for the engineer role instead.

The candidate seemed very puzzled by it and didn't seem to agree on the feedback.

Suffice to say he declined the offer.

How is the definition when using? Mainly thinking about coding for long periods and wondering whether it is crisp enough (I suspect it is)

I've only started scratching the surface of using Go and cannot say enough how refreshing its simplicity is. So far, after putting 2 Go services in production I am still on the honey moon phase. I hope it keeps like that 👌
