I see that a collection of MPs have taken it upon themselves to “launch” a private prosecution, in relation to a case which is still awaiting a CPS charging decision.

It seems to be that time of the year again when some people on social media need to be reminded of contempt of court laws, why they exist, and how even a social media post speculating about an active court case could get one in serious legal trouble.
