re:skill system - It's not really following any kind of pattern but rather hotglued. I'd describe it as "what if we glue the M, V and C in a big blob" and it worked, skill system was robust and functional after a couple of months.

...and they let me write code and set up the project exactly like I wanted to (loose and bad), which paid off! e.g. the skill system went through several iterations, and none of them took very long because nothing was particularly rigid.

I think can mostly take credit for
- the skill system (tools, implementation and UX),
- art/UI implementation and
- keeping the whole thing relatively stable and buildable.

I must admit I didn't fully get what we were building in the beginning, but I loved the team and trusted their design. ...

I feel like the only time I care is when I need to go find a certain prefab, or scene, and its especially annoying if you recently used it.

so I hacked my own "recently used" Tab in my editor monstrosity. stuff gets added automatically as I work, but I can delete it once I change contexts.
