Unfortunately yeah, everything is now roguelike in a sense. And i love roguelikes! But, it’s just, most of the time they’re barely roguelike, the bare minimum requirement basically. Although sometimes i feel like they should be rougelites instead since no clear meta progression in many cases

I heard that the partner person is there for only early game? Unsure if the game gets multiple companions or not, but think the “companion that talks very often and tells you stuff you already know” isn’t around for long? But i haven’t played it nor seen any gameplay, so not confirmed
