It's up to you really.
I've read smaller from other writers without them ever offering or them asking me. I did it purely because of curiosity and wanting to see what they've made.

I mean personally, I'd read what you have. I got time today and tomorrow due to my workplace being closed for a singular day. I'll give you my personal thoughts and whatnot.
I'd collect it like all of my other books/ stories that I'm reading in my queue rn.

it makes me proud of my progress and the fact that I had the confidence and felt good enough to make them public. Popularity and people coming to read your stuff should be considered a bonus, not a focal point.
Post them because you want to share and don't put high expectations of being noticed.

I think I know what you're feeling. It's exactly what I'm experiencing with my project and it always makes me feel shitty. Because every time I'm reminded that nobody really pays attention to my stories.
Yet, I still post them and make them available to read. Not to torture myself, but because

Finally got around to reading this. Your writing style is absolutely beautiful and unique and I definitely would love to see more. You have a much larger dictionary and creative way in incorporating descriptions too.
Far better of a writer than I am. Very envious.

Wow, it's almost like people know what they want because it's THEIR body, more than others dictating their life choices and what they want. It's almost like that's how it's supposed to be.

Like this.
Drew this while riding in a car.

Like if they come back and say that. Just say in your head. "Dang, these bots really have bad detection software in their heads, don't they?"
November 25, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Even more funnily, you can call trolls bots. In a way, it's a silent insult that someone is so oblivious that it's a robot and not a real person. Lol

releasing a new story to the world, regardless if it's ignored by everyone or hated by people. At the end of the day, I made it and I felt good about it.
Just keep doing it for your personal enjoyment and consider the comments from others a bonus on top of it.
November 25, 2025 at 4:17 PM
Not everybody probably has that ability. However, just remember to not take others' comments so seriously and just remember that your work, regardless if it's praised or not, you felt good enough to release it into the world. }
I don't have fans myself, but the achievement that makes me happy is

Once I reached adulthood and began learning about narcissim and other red flags in people. I've grown to not play their games and mess with them. I even trolled back a family member of someone I knew that tried bullying me. I wasn't even scared, I was just fucking with them to waste their time.
November 25, 2025 at 4:17 PM
I've actually been meaning to read your series in a single session too. I like collecting other's visions of dragon worlds. After all, WoF wasn't the start of it all, right?
I think I have a stronger tolerance because I grew up being pushed around by other meanies in my childhood.
November 25, 2025 at 4:17 PM
I get it. I mean, I'm sure some of these other book authors get similar types of comments in one way or another. Rurik Redwolf, Justin Lee, LJ Davies and Rebecca Yarros. None of which has anything to do with WoF.
Or TDN's comic and even Maggie Lightheart with the Rankless comic.

Exercises or breathing techniques. If you ever feeling stressed after seeing a comment, you can always try that and see if you'll feel better. There's all sorts of activities to keep stuff from fully bothering you. Letting them go heathily even with austism. That's just a few suggestions.
November 25, 2025 at 3:58 PM
You are not obligated to release it if you really don't want to. But just remember that you shouldn't punish the whole group for the few. Just like in school when teachers forced everyone to do a 10 page essay for the behavior of three out of thirty. There's also ways to cope with stress to.
November 25, 2025 at 3:58 PM
What I do for my project is that I am not doing this for others, only for myself. Which also means that people's comments have absolutely no bearing on my series. I can make the shittiest story and it would only be for me. The only reason it's public? Because I don't want to be alone while I make it
November 25, 2025 at 3:58 PM
All I know is that they aren't going to stop here. They will only get worse as you grow as a creator. I have seen artists get thousands of negative comments on their pieces. Which is all the more reason to not have it ruin your experience.
November 25, 2025 at 3:58 PM
That's fairly disheartening and I'm sorry to hear that. You can only really do your best with what you can. I mean, there's always an option to get someone to manage comments or people for you. Although, that may not be an actual option or ruin the experience for you.
November 25, 2025 at 3:58 PM
I promise. ❤️
The first challenge as a creator is always your reaction to mean comments. The better you are at dealing with them, the better you will feel.
November 25, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Make sure you tag them appropriately and add disclaimers (i did that for mine on my Amazon page)
You can only do so much, but it's on you to stand your ground and keep comments from hurting. You gotta grow that tolerance side by standing your ground or ignoring them. The more you do it, the better.
November 25, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Negative sticks in your mind more because that's when doubts or your personal feelings get hurt. It's a common thing, but don't let them get to you.
Even if I got the same treatment. I'd make it clear that dragons didn't start with wof. If they are here for that, then they are in the wrong place.
November 25, 2025 at 3:41 PM
While I also desire constructive criticism, I also can tell the difference and treat the meanies the way they want to be treated. (Block button)
Which is another thing, just mute them, hide them or block and always look at the positive comments. Remember that those people are your true fans.
November 25, 2025 at 3:41 PM
I know. I'm not sure how I'd handle it myself. I do have a yt channel and have gotten quite mean comments on rare occasions. I didn't really get overly bothered by them after a bit. Because I realized it wasn't really worth my time. I'd block or mute them and go back to what I do.
November 25, 2025 at 3:41 PM
If people won't be respectful, then they aren't worth the time.
Like what Game Grumps said in one of their videos. "The negative ones stick more than the good ones. You just need to look at the ratio of good vs bad to see that they shouldn't be taken seriously." Hell, consider them trolls too.
