Full marks to the BBC weather site for correctly showing the repetition of 1am in the UK this weekend. (Hopefully most other weather sites get this right too...)

"Dragon" is to "pile of gold" as "cat" is to "coffee machine".

I believe there are people who believe a cupboard under the stairs doesn't really need a Dante-based speaker and conference room microphone.

I'm not one of those people.

Signed Hadestown poster is now framed and hanging in my home office / shed. (In the one space left that isn't taken up with Miro lithographs...)

Interval at Hadestown with Allie Daniel as Hermes. Ooh, she's very good :) (I've been looking forward to seeing her as Hermes since Feb 2024...)

Okay, so now I have a rather large Dante-enabled pendant speaker (admittedly without the hanging accessories). It sounds great, I love that it only needs a network cable. Absolute bargain (about $60) so I couldn't resist. Not actually sure what I'm going to do with it though...

Well and truly pinned down by cats.

They sang it again - and it was extra special being with two of my kids for it. Ah.

View from my evening seat - yup, this'll do :)

And the obligatory cast list...

Boo, no real flowers allowed in the theatre. Not to worry. But I get the feeling these cameras might be a touch more expensive than the ones we have at church...

I'm ready with carnations... expecting to keep one for myself, but give the others to whoever expresses an interest.

Original Broadway Epic III, but still the faster Nothing Changes (Fates, after Papers). All stunning.
February 22, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Ooh yes, it's on. Looking forward to a performance with an audience of 99% die-hard fans. Although I did hear one person saying they hadn't seen it before - not sure how they ended up in this particular performance, but I'm slightly jealous of the mind-blowing they're about to experience...
February 22, 2025 at 1:58 PM
Oh, look where I am again. Just kidding, we're seeing Oliver tonight. (Back for Hadestown OBC on March 7th...)
February 14, 2025 at 6:59 PM
We're gonna see it again... (Currently decked out in Hadestown T-shirt, sweater, socks and beanie.)

I've put it back now.

I think you must have been about 3 rows ahead of where I saw it from...
November 24, 2024 at 4:32 PM
Yup, this has been a successful work trip.

Much election night snackage.

It's not pretty, but it works. (There's more work to do in order to detect Boolean values, handle string/float enums etc, but it's a start. And it found a subtle bug in my code!)

Undercover fish still needs a bit more training, I think.

Chugga chugga chugga chugga... Once upon a time there was a railroad line...
