One of four remaining Palladian architecture bridges consisting of steps with balustrade to the central part of the bridge which has arches over the water below of varying heights and widths. The archers and base of the bridge are reflected in the water below. The top part of the bridge features tall columns and arches, with a triangular gabled roof structure. The Trollstigen (troll steps) mountain road snakes its way down the mountain from left to right through hairpin bends, until it finally levels out on the valley floor alongside the river that flows down from the mountaintop as a waterfall. The road can be seen crossing above the waterfall in the bottom right of frame. Either side of the valley, tall rocky mountains give way to green shrubbery , stretching far into the distance.
