I've written directly to him and to the DNC numerous times with the suggestion to get a spokesperson or shadow cabinet, to hold daily messaging. You see him on TV, he's like "Dems are winning, we're gonna win". Not answering questions or providing a message. Completely quaint and vapid.

If a turn on Trump is what's coming from MAGA, she will have been the first to have done so and could campaign on that. That assumes JD will be gone, though. 🤔

Great summary, wicasta. I agree. I wonder, though, will the GOP electeds fall in line behind Vance like they've done with Trump? I can imagine resistance to him in the leadership role, and I wonder how the technocrats will control it. Vance seems ripe to be picked off.

Thought this was true for impeachment for treason and high crimes. It can't be true for the 25th, because then the cabinet would essentially be voting to 86 themselves. Unless you mean just POTUS' staff?? I don't know the details. Sorry.

This is how I imagine it playing out, but even if Trump says he can't release them because of DOJ, his supporters who expected him to do it will still be angry. Is that when he blames Bondi? Plus, there's the fact that Trump could've released them whenever he chose, if I understand correctly.

Interesting theory--I wondered how the jettisoning would occur. Might not turn out to be the best time for the technocrats to kill the king, though. People are paying attention now, MAGA is at one another's throats, Republicans are clearly jockeying for what comes next. Vance is not a figure /1

They've done pretty well trying to control the real/fake divide for their followers to date, but I wonder if things have changed.
