I listened to the oral arguments. Some of the justices, particularly Alito, seemed to be working hard to figure out how to back Trump, although it sounded like the majority were skeptical overall of the tariffs, at best. Still, given the court’s recent history, all bets are off…

Well, I’m sure it makes sense to some, but it’s really wrong here, completely tone-deaf in the current environment, plus creates an image that feeds the Fox News/Trumpist propaganda machine, and they don’t even need to use AI to fake it. In my town’s No Kings march, there were many American flags.

Economic boycott. The large part of the population that is disgusted with what is going down has sufficient economic leverage to thoroughly rattle the business class that is cravenly sitting by and complying with the slide into authoritarianism. We can’t wait for midterms. Economic boycott NOW.
