From the recent Old Vines Conference, when Alder said that OIV chose 35 years of age because most vineyards are replaced after 30 years, that finally made some logical sense to me.

Well, you do practically have to be an avocado whisperer to get a good one for the exact moment you'll use it. I've been known to buy 3 and have my daughter say, these two are bad.
