My wife is an immigrant. We’ve paid many thousands of pounds for her to live here. She contributes to society and to the economy. But this shit? It makes us feel unwelcome. It implies that she’s lesser because she’s not high earning, or an entrepreneur.
I’m revolted by this Tory-lite government.

I wrote to my labour MP yesterday to express my anger and despair, this article is far more eloquent. We need a government that fights against racism and hate, not implicitly condones it.
Mahmood would rather soothe the racists than do the “hard work of confronting the economic failure… and cowardice that has enabled the rise of the far right.”
As if making life even worse for immigrants will make our country happier and better off.

There is a serious failure in UK govt, politics & media to take sufficiently seriously what Musk said & meant with "fight back or die"

not sure where we find all these premier league quality players at affordable prices in Jan. reading some of the cpfc posts you would think it's easy. we may lose some players, so coming out of Jan with a couple more options in key positions is as much as I'm hoping for.

Reflecting on yesterday's game. I am disappointed, particularly with some poor defensive moments but going forward we looked dangerous and created good chances. Even when 3-1 down it felt like we could get something out of the game #cpfc

I find this whole doubting Glasner thing a bit odd. New players not looking as good (yet) as the ones that left, best signing Wharton has injury and off form. We have been competitive but not quite got the edge to win but new squad needs to gel. Time to keep a cool head and hold your nerve. #cpfc

Hughes was the Palace man of the match for me. Changed the tempo of the game when he came on.
