I remember this pretty often.

My current stance on it is that almost everything is small stuff. When big stuff happens, it's always fairly horrendous and merely increases the backlog of small stuff waiting for you when it's finally over.

It's been a little while since you've had a sustained period of boring conditions. You're due a rest at some point, surely.
