Unsurprisingly, the non-reggeaton tracks are by far my favorite (especially the salsa cuts), but for a genre I generally despise, this is actually pretty good, a lot of the production flourishes definitely help with covering for my main issue with the genre (that there's only one drum pattern).

In a year where the uncs of hip-hop have been delivering some of their best, if not their best, work to date (De La Soul, Freddie Gibbs, Danny Brown, Clipse, Billy Woods, Aesop Rock) and age in hip-hop is no longer an excuse, this album really sticks out like a sore thumb with how inept it is.

but DMC3 is in my book a pretty much perfect game, so I can't really blame them, but there were some notable improvements (the biggest one for me is that they finally seperated the currencies so you could actually get pretty much every move, without feeling that you wasted a potential health restore
