Not an original thought, but this made grasp anew how much the entire MAGA enterprise rests on projecting weakness as strength. The Orange creme puff is jacked, & never backs down in a negotiation, tariffs will supercharge the economy, immigration is not a distinct American advantage, etc...

So Trump's proposed budget would slash the NASA and USGS Earth science budget. And they appear to reference insulating gold foil on Landsat satellites as some sort of exorbitant & unnecessary expense? This from the guy with the gold toilets?
