And in a separate file, all the code with Genius.com styled inline annotations. Wow.

Ohhh, now this is cool! This is the interactive code overview Claude Code generated for me, and the prompt I used to get it. I love this!

Matteo Scalera is just a god-tier artist. I’m rereading one of my favorites, Black Science, and it’s just sensational and beautiful, panel by panel. Rick Remender is an incredible writer and they gel so well. Highly recommend, but pace yourself if you’re an anxious and self destructive navel-gazer.

Twin Peaks Conversation with the Stars in Seattle at the Neptune Theater! Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer), Ray Wise (Leland Palmer), Kimmy Robertson (Lucy Moran), Harry Goaz (Deputy Andy Brennan), and Sabrina Sutherland (exec producer). What a wonderful time.

Found in my neighborhood. Seattle is an odd place.

Fight Club 2 was a lot of fun. Excited to reread it.

Iterating on this in plain language while being specific and having a specific intent is just ridiculously convenient. I've never had full access to an engineer that can help me build tools before, and finding that I can get exactly what I want communicating like I always have is mindblowing.

I have a vague cargo culty sense of how things are supposed to work, but I lack a deeper understanding of how it works, how to troubleshoot it, and how to iterate on it. I've been super candid with Claude Code about it, and it's been generating terrific markdown documentation I can read in Obsidian.

My recent sleep schedule has been dictated by hitting Claude Code's usage limits and waiting until they unlock so I can do more tests and feature implementation. It checks itself into git with clear rollback points, and now I can actually stage between experimental and prod without breaking it.

Porkchop the backyard raccoon has returned again and has plopped down on his favorite resting spot.

I am desperately short of sleep today and I misread the cursive script in this vintage ad's title as "How do you FIGHT A GOD?"

It's funny on Bluesky getting block notifications. It's admittedly rare, never anyone I've ever interacted with or had a name I recognized, and seemingly disconnected from anything I've posted recently.

Katsu and Panko get fed at 8:45am and 8:45pm. Every morning they begin their intense pressure campaigns for early feeding starting around 7am by jumping onto our bed and racing back and forth across us while we sleep. I refuse to capitulate. It is a stalemate. Cat tax attached.

My first hiyashi chuka cold ramen of the summer! Smoked ham, shrimp, egg crepe, Persian cucumber, corn, scallions, and cherry tomato over chilled ramen noodles with a soy-ginger-vinegar sauce. One of my favorite dishes.

I just got the Dirty Work 4K with unreleased footage from the excellent folks at @vinsyn.bsky.social! I'm a huge Norm Macdonald fan, I loved this movie, and I'm delighted by the quality of all of this. It looks and sounds great in 4K, and custom box art and booklet insert are terrific.

The freezer tip is a game-changer. It lasts so long in there! Thanks for the grate tip, Tom.

To redeem myself, this is the ginger grater I use when I need to add the juice as well, like for Japanese curry or ramen tare. It's a 2x2 grid of porcelain hooks, offset 90° from each other. Max extraction!

Seattle's sticker game is always on point. I love living in walkable cities and build my life around it, and stickers here are such a form of expression and I love it.

I've captured the instant that Panko realized that blepping gets attention and forehead kisses and enthusiastic pets.

Drove up to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival today for @postmodernsleaze.bsky.social's birthday. It's so beautiful with such incredible colors, photos barely do it justice. I love living out here.

Finally consolidated all of my Japanese cookbooks into one spot. I had no idea I had so many! So many wonderful memories. You'll notice I have two copies of Japanese Soul Cooking because the first is so thoroughly stained and worn from being in a happy, actively curious kitchen.

He's so cute I can't stand it! It was neat getting to see him for so long.

As much as I enjoy them, however, I don't feed or encourage them to be here. There's a dumpster on our property and our backyard is part of their commute.
