The seed was from a pale pink self-seeded hollyhock on our verge 🤔

The colours nasturtiums change into is impressive. They work hard keeping pests away, brightening gloomy days & keeping soil from drying out.

The book is Theory & Practice by Michelle de Kretser. It is mainly red-orange with an old-fashioned photo of a young thin woman with a bandana in the hair, in the middle.

I was at the beautiful Matilda Bookshop in gorgeous Stirling yesterday, dropping off some stock of my book.
Lovely staff, great range of books, magnificent setting - who could ask for anything more?
So grateful for their faith in my book.

These colourful nasturtiums are changelings!
When first planted nasturtiums are often orange & yellow. As they reseed they take on colours from pale yellow through to deep red. I haven't seen these multicoloured ones before.
What a treat!

I like Vanessa Greene's work, so I borrowed a few from the library. Love the gorgeous cup!

Did you know authors get royalties from library borrowings?
It's a great way to get our work out in the community but still get paid for our contribution.
