Englishman here, and I agree. We need to stop abuses of power and increase democratic accountability

They’ve truly lost the plot. They are risking, or even encouraging, a wider war in Europe. We need to cut ties with the US

He isn’t indigenous either. Maybe deport grandpa because he doesn’t speak Navajo? He’s so dumb and twisted

The peace of shit prize
December 6, 2025 at 3:31 PM
Agreed - in just one example, being pro-Russia is incompatible with being pro-peace. How in the world has he been awarded the FIFA inaugural peace prize??

Labour are not saveable. Once bitten electorate will be twice shy about voting them in again

Now that I understand this, I’m going to delete Spotify from all my devices. I doubt that my actions will change anything, but my conscience will be clearer
December 4, 2025 at 7:34 PM
From the perspective of the billionaires, that was true: they took control away from the people and into their hands for their own gain
December 4, 2025 at 6:45 PM
When we were removed from the protection of the EU, and our economy started bleeding, all the billionaire sharks came to feast.
It will not get better until we can rejoin

Any people who were/are upset by this, but who don’t speak out, are lending passive support to Trump, whether they understand that or not.
People like Trump are emboldened by the silence, and see and accept it as tacit agreement and support.
It’s important that everyone should speak out

They’re probably stored in Huggies. None of that shit leaks out.

You can’t buy shares in barristers.
But you can buy shares in prisons contractors.
This is why we don’t spend money on rehabilitation and prevention schemes, but instead have longer sentences.
The money they will save on removal of juries will just be tipped into the pockets of the shareholders..
December 3, 2025 at 12:22 PM
If we focused on offender rehabilitation and prevention schemes instead of ever-lengthening prison sentences that don’t work, then I’m sure they could find the money…
It feels like a further rebalancing of the system in favour of prison contractors
December 3, 2025 at 9:00 AM
It’s another example of “we can’t afford it” while having CEOs who are still being paid 52 x worker average, and corporations paying lowest tax in the G7.
While some jury trials cannot work effectively, and the system does actually need changes, there is a big risk that this could go too far

Maybe deportation is only the first phase then. But if they start building terminators, then exile will become an attractive option. I think we are a long way from that dystopian future but I also believe it’s one possible future that could come true: I just hope I’m wrong
November 30, 2025 at 5:11 PM
I think, if you replace the word “exterminate” with “deport”, then you’ve got it
November 30, 2025 at 4:41 PM
I wanted to believe that things couldn’t get any worse. This is outrageous
November 29, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan are poised to invest massively post budget - They have not been targeted, and corporate taxation hasn’t budged (still lowest in the G7 and a race to the bottom).
These American banks at least, probably do love Labour
November 29, 2025 at 4:22 PM
That’s useful - thanks.
We need to break the monopolies before I’ll pay for streaming again

Because big money gets what big money wants, ever since the days of Reagan

Proof that the world would benefit from having more left handed people 😉
November 29, 2025 at 11:50 AM
This hierarchy is perfect - Netflix doesn’t fit in anywhere but at the bottom. I’m doing really well with doing without it 😉
November 29, 2025 at 11:47 AM
I’m inclined to think that they do have a strategy, but it’s a pro-corporate one. They are dishonest
November 29, 2025 at 11:32 AM
It’s nothing more than a calculated attempt at minimalist appeasement, while everything else is pro-corporate business as usual.
It’s dishonest, and they actually are deluded if they think that the electorate can’t see it

The stuff of nightmares to you and me
