I agree with the Liberal Party. Net zero is a scam and we should abandon it. It's like saying it's OK to commit murder as long as you pay a surrogate to have a baby at the same time. Also, that it's ok to procure multiple murders in another country because that's the other country's problem.
I made a submission to the Senate inquiry into the proposed Environment Protection Reform Bill. Here's a copy of my text. TL:DR - it's not very good.

'But the incident is far from amusing. The case gave a revealing insight into the entrenched racism of WA's "justice" system. Indigenous people in WA are the most imprisoned people in the world.'
'Freddo Frog' charge reveals police racism
Were it not so outrageous, it could almost be funny. A 12-year-old Aboriginal boy was brought before a Western Australian court on a charge of receiving stolen goods. He had accepted a chocolate Fredd...

I think this is absolutely correct. The right wing of politics has been very quick to harness this anger and turn it to their own ends, which are mainly 'make rich people richer'. The mainstream left has resisted and tried to be the 'sensible centre' when they should be for radical redistribution.
I feel like a lot of pundits are really missing the obvious by pontificating about how Trump’s vote reflected a huge swing to the right and Mandani’s to the left.

It’s much simpler than that: they’re both ‘fuck the system’ votes. It’s not left-right, it’s status quo vs literally anything else.

Robodebt is not an isolated case, and the same sort of s*** is still going on. We need a much more fundamental reform of both the system and the departments that administer it.

But it still is not enough.

But thank god they are spending all your money on military police to 'protect us'.

Aren't we lucky?

The CSIRO says its advice to gas giant Santos over a major methane leak should stay secret to protect its "commercial activities". The Clean Energy Regulator says it has no records of its advice.

Nauru is not just a floating prison. It has its own history and culture. The last 100 years of their history have not reflected well on us. Now we are exploiting them once again to house people who would be much better supported here in Australia. paintingfakes.blogspot.com/2025/09/the-...

Why Musk's war on the 'woke mind virus' is doomed to fail
We don’t need to fear the "woke mind virus". We need to grow up and that takes courage, and the humility to admit we’re still evolving.

The people congratulating the ALP for not caring about genocide really tell on themselves.

They are the lot who would prefer the ALP now be even more LNP out of fear the party will lose seats in 2028 if it uses this win to do things in the ALP platform.

Time to grow a spine or f*ck off.
