I have a really silly knockback effect happening when raccoons attack enemies. Not sure if I want to keep it around but it made me laugh and was kind of fun to implement.

Got patrols, parties, the battle system, and A* path finding all working while staying above 60fps. Ignore the game crash at the end. Now I just need to like... make it fun and less wonkey.

Here's how much work_mem you need in Postgres to check various distances on 1 million 1536 dimension vectors and not spill over to disk. More checks and maybe a blog post coming soon. This is all thanks to a side project I've been working on: github.com/binarycleric...
