Online parts databases makes life so much easier. Back in the 90s with the 924S some of the info was gold dust for going to the Vw dealers, I need this for an 83 Golf…

Looking at the bills from stuff nowadays it’s feeling like that in general. Oh why did we get a garage only a hairs width bigger than the car so can’t even think about servicing it at home

Oh those too, Ghibli, even just a “boggo” fugly BiTurbo, all the above still applies

Always loved these, but also always feared the long distance relationship part would be it’s always at the specialists not at home…

Still THE lotto car. Saw my first one on the road 2 years ago, then saw the same car again 3 hours later 😍

Do it, I've always said doing the big lego recently is pandering to the inner 8 year old, and why not

Super haul. Should be able to build some great stuff with that lot

They've all (nationals getting as bad) just dumbed down even further this last 10 years, at some point I just blocked half the links for the local rags on twitter etc because what was the point in even clicking them. Tried to read a national recently & page just refreshes every few seconds, useless

I can't believe you'd go to all that money & effort...

and then leave in mk3 Cavalier stalks

Unfortunately the reality like here will be they'll just spend $5 a month on a VPN to be somewhere else, in 50% of the cases without their parents knowledge so the reason which makes the ban even worse because the parents blindly believe they're safe

More likely we’ll be priced into being bus wankers…

Yeah it’s ace getting full business cover for £200 on a 3l. The downside is also sort the in-laws out, and I know we’re in the bottom of the dip and it starts going up again. They’re now paying over double what we do now, and they’ve only got a 1.3

What the hell would us Brit’s talk about without it?

Something will come along if you keep hunting. I think I got lucky on a sale price at the time, and figured even though a bit silly money, the residuals on the big kits is rather favourable, so its not like some other hobbies where you look at the depreciation and cry #LookingAtYouCarsAndCameras

(Checks prices) Bloody norah. I only paid £120 new back in Xmas '14. I think if it was the crane I bung in the box right now and just stick it on eBay, but was never happy with it, but I'm not selling my transporter, shares the shelf with the unimog 😍

If you do get a 42009 there’s a brilliant set of MoC instructions to make a recovery truck or transporter. Mine was a crane for about 3 months it’s been several years like this…

To be fair, I didn't look too much past the last service bill. Mainly because I was so shocked the bloody spark plugs cost more than I remember paying for a service on my first car...

Aye, sometimes get the bills back. HOW BLOODY MUCH, it was half that last time. Yep, last time it was 10 years ago, everything has gone up a ton since then.

It grates me I’m paying for music subs because I don’t own anything new, but, I’m figuring longer term, the stuff that’s forever keepers will be bought, shorter term it allows me to discover things I wouldn’t if I could only listen to what I’d bought, as I don’t want to be on a lifetime of subs
