I saw David Seymour's announcement, sending Compass off to the four winds and replacing it with 10 regional school lunch providers. Looks like Subway must be back in the frame, if they're now pricing school lunches according to roll size? 6 inch, 12 inch... 😁

Who first sold the authentic Kiwi mince and cheese pie? And yes, we know Georgie Pie popularised it ... but they don't seem to have added it to their menu until 1983 or 1984 or later? So which bakery first sold mince and cheese pies, and when? How can we be sure? Asking the important questions ...

Massive personal win to start the week. I left my coffee cup on the roof of the car, and drove at least 500m around several corners and over a couple of speed bumps (albeit in slow traffic) before another motorist kindly wound down the window and pointed it out to me. Still standing, still full!
