Long COVID invites out-of-the-box thinking, because people are understandably desperate to return to normal.

This is all because of an observation, at the beginning of the pandemic, that smokers *appeared* to be protected from COVID.

A team formulated a hypothesis.

Unfortunately, the initial observation was flawed, and the team that formulated the hypothesis? Bit too close to the tobacco industry.

Also, the health coach in question got one of his degrees from a former chiropractic college that now offers degrees in acupuncture, Chiro, naturopathy, etc.

One of their courses? "Homeopathy I: First Aid."

I can believe a lot of stuff about the wellness industry. I can even believe 50K *a year* for a concierge-type health coach.

But 50K *an hour*??

I've reached the limit of my credulity.

But yeah, negotiated down in exchange for promos... wouldn't surprise me.
