Climate, mountains, dogs, politics.
What were the tariffs before a Trump took office? Are both nations better off today?

The press bakes in his extreme position as default and then rewards “relief”.

This is classic anchoring bias, and Trump is a master of confusing the media. Rinse and repeat.

Republicans couldn’t find any meaningful cuts in defense spending and also increased both defense and DHS spending.

I’m stunned only by the lack of a desire to even pretend to be fiscal conservatives.

The legislation includes tax cuts as well as big cuts to Medicaid, food benefits and other programs, and it would add more than $3 trillion to the national debt.

people who live near coal plants die faster because the pollution they generate is insanely toxic and there’s no way to avoid that
Trump’s exact quote to Fox today on this: “We’re doing coal. I don’t want windmills destroying our place. I don’t want these solar things where they go for miles and they cover up half a mountain and are ugly as hell.”

Everyone under the age of 50 should carry this moment into the voting booth for the rest of their lives.

Republicans sold out our future, sold out our parents, and sold out our children. They sold out our allies and our neighbors.

Never forget. Never again.

The entire global market is hung up on the Straight of Hormuz today.

Another reminder that climate innovation will eliminate these economic bottlenecks.

So … don’t talk to me about tax incentives for clean energy until you price in these fossil fuel subsidies.

Why the Strait of Hormuz, A Vital Oil Route, Is Vulnerable to Israel-Iran Conflict
Every day, roughly one-fifth of the world’s oil supply squeezes through a narrow waterway on Iran’s southern border. It is one of the energy industry’s most important trading routes — and one of its m...

This is what an actual #AmericaFirst energy policy looks like.
The security reason to electrify transport is not about oil imports, it’s economic resilience. Oil powers 90% of US vehicles, so when the price of oil spikes because of a war, people & companies pay more for energy, which hurts the economy. The more transport is electrified, econ security goes up.

Even if a military strike was justified, Donald Trump is the world’s least trustworthy person to make the case for why it was necessary.

This. When Republicans talk about eliminating subsidies for clean energy, somehow they never mention the trillions of dollars in fossil fuel subsidies spent by the US military.

The cost of the pardon for people who bribe Trump will be another $15 million.

Infinite profits!
Some of Paramount's directors are worried that settling giving President Trump $15 million to settle his lawsuit and maybe smooth the way to his administration's approval of their merger could expose them to criminal liability for bribing a public official.

Let’s talk about “energy independence.”

Republicans unveiled a spending bill that guts clean energy—from EV credits to wind, solar, and even nuclear. It throttles utility load growth and undermines U.S. energy production at home.

This isn’t independence. It’s fossil fuel fanaticism. #energysky

1. Hit yourself in the head with hammer

2. Stop

3. Declare yourself a genius

My gut says that we'll see MORE shitty right win EOs and Agency announcements as Republicans in Congress panic over the economy and need a cookie to stay silent.
This EO is very serious in how it fake interprets the role of the Federal government.
This new White House executive order says that the US Attorney General is going to prevent states from implementing democratically passed laws regarding climate change and clean energy. It scarcely needs stating at this point that this is wildly, unambiguously unconstitutional. Dictator shit.
