I’ve become bored with AI how come creating doesn’t feel good when none of my feelings are leaving my body and entering the work I don’t get it

I like this a lot. There's so much character in those lines

It's like saying I won the Boston marathon because I had a taxi drive me to the finish line first. Yeah, I made it to the finish line, but why would anyone care or recognize that as a win if I didn't personally run the distance.
They don't understand the journey is the important part, not the finish

There has always been an aspect of that. Maybe it waxes and wanes over time but this existed when I was a baby comics fan in the pre-internet 90s. There have been papers written on fandom being a replacement for sports among non-traditionally masculine men, but ain't no rule says women can't play

Even most continuities where he's not (including mainline DC) he almost certainly has anti-Starfire plans.

Mans had countermeasures for the ENTIRE Justice League, he ain't not gonna include the chick that's dating his son

And they weren't entirely wrong. A lot of the negatives creatives said would happen absolutely did.

Like, coming at this from comics: digital becoming standard has been a cause of reduced wages, increased work, and entire art discipline practically disappearing. Not the only cause, but a real one.

They would not. But they would at least be able to learn to drive a vehicle, and in fact that industry became the modern transport industry (hence, Teamsters).

There is no protection in place for creatives, and it's totally irrelevant if they adopt AI or not.

The last few years have shown me how antipathetic a lot of people are to the idea that artists making art has any value at all

Incredibly fucking disheartening
