Citizens of a city or county should be able to opt out of having to help pay the cost of electric for data centers in their area.
If whoever is financing the data center can't pay the bills, there shouldn't be a data center there.

I am convinced that if you put 100 random Americans into a room:
- 48 of them kinda sorta care about others, but ultimately just want attention.
- 47 don't care about anyone else.
- 5 of the people want to actually fix things and will put in the work necessary to do so.
