I see the possibility of an average of +7 shift in favor of Democrats in light-red states and districts.

My read is that Democrats should not get comfortable but can learn well from this that they can benefit from investing more time and money in face-to-face organizing in recently light red districts/states.

Whether Jews identify as religious or not, different Jewish symbols commonly decorate Jews' dress: kippot, Star of David earrings, Hebrew necklaces, and more visual cues expressiog the religion of the Jew on the street.

In their system there is no hope. We have not yet surrendered our hope. What I am concerned about is that everyone who can still feel, should also resolve. This great American dilemma, the gap between our high talk and our low acts, between American promise and American practice, must be resolved.

I am not worried about our imagine in other countries. I am not worried about what the Communists will do with the incidents in Birmingham, Selma, Philadelphia, Mississippi. Their system does not even permit demonstrations to begin with.

We are not minors, without responsibility for what others do. What is happening is part of the American scene, and we all bear responsibility.

Every American who does not wish to be guilty of profanation of the name ought to walk in patience these days. We are all involved in what is happening. We are not better than we were. We are not more liberal.

Who knows where to place the blame? We are all creatures of inherited prejudices. So often when the crisis faces us, we are weak.

When we prefaced the Constitution of the United States with the words, “We, the People,” we did not mean one part of us, not one section of us, one race of us, one church of us. Now we have taken that document, so costly in human effort, and we have turned back the pages of history.
