P.S. Ten Candles is a horror TTRPG that is pretty approachable and not a huge time commitment even if (like me) you don't have much recent experience with TTRPGs.

The idea of telling scary stories with friends is a fun one, and "Scare Me" captures that quite well. Is Scare Me the same as Are You Afraid of the Dark? No, and I don't think it aims to be. But it does leave me wanting to tell a scary story with my friends.

There were a good number of kids' horror anthology shows in the 90s, including, of course, "Are You Afraid of the Dark?". If you're not familiar with it, this show had a framing device, which was that each story was being told by one of the main cast gathered 'round a campfire.
