Very sad to learn of the passing of Col Larry Elman. The last surviving son of Dave Elman, a legendary hypnotist who's name is often spoken of in the same breath as Milton Erickson.

It took several days to find my Archos and then convert all my needed videos to AVI, (a format so old most converters no longer include it!), in real time, so painfully slow! Even though the battery life is less than stellar - totally worth it. #oldskool

So it looks like the bridge is the only solution for federated accounts. Not perfect, but it does work. The only irritating thing left is the bridged account over on Mastodon still has my old profile and the bridged Bluesky account still has a pinned post. Other than that - peachy!

OK, very confusing, but I sort of understand it now. Posts here end up on my bridged Mastodon account, not my regular Mastodon account and anything I post from Mastodon ends up on my bridged Bluesky account, not this one.

Yeah, my head is exploding too. Not sure how useful this bridge will be. 🤯

There will be several nonsensical posts while I try to figure bridging out. If only I had Clippy to help me!
