Leftist, pro-EU, humanist would-be cyclist.
Husband to one and father to two.

If you have an Exposure TraceR light and want to use it on a full sus mtb with a dropper post then I can recommend the saddle rail mount.

I got out for an hour but it was pretty wet.

It’s the UK, fella. Nothing to do with e-bikes tearing up the trails, just the weather. It’s like that for at least 6 months of the year in many places.

Nice ride to Cwmcarn and a lap of the Pwca trail this afternoon.

Normandy Day 5: Another relaxing day in Bénouville today. A little ride around doing a food shop & visit to the excellent Pegasus Bridge Memorial museum.
It’s been a great week away. 😀
A short ride up to Ouistreham & the early ferry back to Portsmouth tomorrow.

Normandy Day 4: Bayeux to Bénouville via Gold Beach, Arromanches, the British Normandy Memorial, Juno Beach, Sword Beach & Pegasus Bridge.
A really nice ride in lovely weather but plenty of thoughts of what once was and how lucky we are.

Normandy Day 3: A ‘rest day’ today. A little ride around Carentan looking for breakfast then the train to Bayeux and a visit to the Tapestry Museum and Battle for Normandy Museum.

Normandy Day 2: visits to the Crisbecq Battery, LeClerc Memorial and Utah Beach on the way from Quettehou to Carentan.
Utah Beach is lovely. It’s very sobering thinking how different it was in June 1944.

Normandy Day 1: not a bad ride from Cherbourg to Quettehue via Barfleur & St-Vaast-la-Hogue but the last 15km or so was tough going, mostly uphill and in to a 30km/h headwind.
Showered & settled in to our ‘luxury chalet’ now and ready to eat then sleep.

Use them during the winter to try and keep the bike a bit cleaner.
