I'm a big nerd. I used to do dangerous stuff.
Drove home. Got home around 3:30 AM. Gracie slept as she had school in the morning. I took today off.

Awesome show! Thank you for coming to California. It was my daughter's first concert and she had a great time.

We had a great time. Great spot. Opening act BIG SURPRISE was excellent. Gracie really liked them. I got a Carter USM vibe off of them. PSB did not disappoint. They are my favorite band of this century. One of the best concerts ever. I was up 21 hours by the time I got home. @psbhq.bsky.social

That's awesome Lee. It's Gracie's first concert. My first Bay Area concert since The Joshua Tree tour in 87. Love PSB.

..and my favorite band that I've discovered in my 50s. Nerdy, progressive alternative rock about historical events. It's like they were made for me. I think I only rendered 1 guilty verdict for Flux. And it wasn't even the one with Corporal Brig.

Haha. Well, Harry (my ride) and Farrah are roans (horse speak for brown apparently) so the only pale horse I have is my white Kia Soul. My daughter and I are riding the Toaster to San Francisco (3.5 hours away) tonight to see a UK band. Public Service Broadcasting. First US tour in 8 years.

Awesome. See you tonight in SF!

Hope I'm not late. Other than killing Jerico, and the other convenient old guy willing to sacrifice himself, it's FINE. Not awesome, but Flux is better than the rest of the Chibnall era series.

Seven, you say?

...served in the big war, or at least did their post war National Service. One thing I like about my British friends is they know how to properly honor their service members. My area does a great job, but that's not true everywhere. Rant over. Not Guilty but damn that irritated me. Do better CC.

All that bullshit could have been avoided by changing the word Corporal to Officer, Lieutenant or even Soilder. But Chibnall couldn't take two seconds to figure out how the rank structure works. Modern writers don't know shit about how the military works, unlike prior generations who either

..aristocrat ass. Despite this, he developed into a competent, even exceptional military leader, until an off screen incident after Season 7, left him with a brain injury and turned him into a lovable, but thick idiot. He recovered enough to be the middle aged bad ass in Survival.

In what reality was he ever a Corporal? None, because for him to be a Corporal, first he has to be a Private, and the fucking Brig was never a Private. He went to some fancy pants military prep school before attending Sandhurst, where he was commissioned and had a stick planted firmly up his

Ok, usual Flux stuff, bouncing through time. I like the Yaz, Dan, Jericho trio parts the best, the Division stuff the least, but overall it's fine. Not......wait a minute. Did they say Corporal Lethbridge-Stewart? Corporal Lethbridge-Stewart? What the blue fuck?

I think Village of the Angels is the best episode of Flux. Professor Jericho is great and wonderfully played by K McNally. The first Angel story not written by Moffat & it works. There's new abilities so it doesn't make a lot of sense, but this stuff rarely does. Still, this was fun & not guilty.

Ahoy Mateys, I really enjoyed your run through Enlightenment, one of my favorite Davisons. Great show piece for Tegan, Turlough is ok. Guest cast was fun. Always love a Lee intro.

I don't think my flamethrower will make it through customs. I've been stung in the neck twice by these vicious bastards, so I am not taking any of them alive. I did work as a pest control technician for 6 horrible months in the 90s. I'm sure my license is expired. Worst job of my life.

Another excellent choice for music. I was singing along, to the annoyance of my wife and daughter.
