#Labor geek. Adoptive Londoner. GenX stereotype. #digitalunions & innovation in UK trades unions. He/him.
New laptop, which means new stickers! But despite diligently collecting union stickers for it, I still have unsightly sticker-free gaps! Anyone out there up for the cultural exchange of a union sticker swap? #1u

Reflections from union campaigners at @campaign-lab.bsky.social #Lab25 fringe - One thing political campaigning might learn is keeping momentum going outside a political cycle. Needs listening as much as leading, to be ready as moments arise.

Not a @unison.org.uk member, but if I were I would deffo be getting my member discount on a holiday at the union's Croyde Bay resort. Here for a conference tomorrow and had a hugely reinvigorating walk on the dunes this evening, just lovely.

This Google search AI is a game changer for research. Rather than needing to read the TUC's wordy Budget Submission, I can get a summary of...

...hold on, that appears to be the LGA Budget Submission, a page with absolutely no TUC mentions, which Google has just attributed at random to the TUC.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Bin bags on fire off the shoulder of Old Kent Road...

SELCHP tours are a 5* highlight of today's London Open House festival.

Very helpful feature from Microsoft's Copilot - AI helps clean my data in Excel with one click - removes errant spaces, capitalisation, typos and full stops.

I can't see how this might go wrong at all...

Delivering a 30,000 strong petition to Amazon HQ in London, in support of warehouse workers in Coventry. They're making history by voting for union recognition this week.

Amazon must:

✅ Stop union busting
✅ Recognise GMB
✅ Treat workers with respect & dignity

Mine too. But mainly surprised by the weird nature of it, not even trying to look legit or make it look like a group someone I know would be adding me to. Just group names as random strings of characters.

Ding dong! Looks like Sadiq Khan has equalled Dick Whittington's record 3 mayoral wins!

The sun comes out for the union march & rally in Cheltenham. We're commemorating 40 years since the GCHQ union rights dispute - and rejecting our current government's attempts to do more of the same. Protect the right to strike!

Very proud of the work my colleagues have done in developing free campaigning tools for the union movement on our www.megaphone.org.uk platform. More than 1 million people taking action on union campaigns and backing members' disputes.

Soft spot for Methodists and their honesty in following where the Method leads. Powerful Christmas decorations at our local.
