Don't go getting all ageist now. I'm 67 and still have enough brainpower to easily match or out-do the adolescents and most of the so-called adults in the study.

It's a representative democracy then of the great British electorate. Shame.

Trouble is, many in the UK will do just that and for that very reason. And Farage is only one head of a very ugly hydra.

One only has to watch the vox pops on TV or read the comments in online news or on social media to see why the UK is in deep trouble. Lack of understanding, prejudice, jealousy, self-interest, indifference and outright stupidity are all rife in British society.
And each is armed with a vote.

We're so polite; 'dishonest'. Maybe it's just me.

I can remember 49 years ago like it was yesterday. I put a firework in a bottle, broke a window on a building site, drank Newcastle Brown ale until I was sick. I struggled to unclip my girlfriend's bra! That's teenage behaviour.
Now Farage, how come you can't remember being a racist little shit?

Yes, his lips move.

Nigel Farage admits hurting people was effortless.

I suppose for people like him it is.

Because this country is clearly full of sick human beings.

Sorry, but - what other answer could there be?

He made crystal clear who he is back in 2015.

He was elected POTUS TWICE - with a stint as an attempted overthrower of our government in between.

The USA is full of sick human beings.

This.

I'd hate to be an American. What an embarrassing, disgusting imbecile Trump is.

Community note: that's factually not true.

77 million Americans would do the same presumably. They must think this is ok?

I'm all for taxing all of those who voted for Brexit to compensate for the loss. That sounds fair doesn't it?
November 17, 2025 at 8:18 PM
My point exactly. Labour will drive anger and the populists will latch on. The poor regions were shafted by Tories - that's their MO. They need investment but not robbing Peter to pay Paul. Tax the real rich, not those with family homes worth half a million.

Where are all these wealthy pensioners you speak of? How many pensioners on £25k a year (poor state pension + modest pension from working 40+years) go 4 cruises a year and run large 4x4s?
But these pensioners will see a 2p tax increase? It's weak policy and Labour know it.
