I am just a basic person who wants to be entertained so yeah, Uncut Gems is in the once but never again category and Requiem for a Dream is in the why on Earth would I watch that category.

There are so many movies and shows were I appreciate the artistry and absolutely don't want to watch. Like the fishes (???) ep of the Bear. No thanks but well done, I guess.

This is America was what, 9 years ago? American Idiot was 20? They Aint Like Us is a dis track about a celebrity. Music is so sprawling and culturally fractured now, sure, but the main ethos isn't one of rebellion or anti-establishment uprising.

I know this is my Gen X cultural bias speaking but it's a shame that all these years of upheaval haven't produced bands that came roaring out the gate like the Clash.

This might have been covered but when someone does leave, are they bought out of ownership or does ownership just lapse with cessation of employment? Since the goal isn’t IPO or selling out to different entity, I assume the value is largely tied to yearly comp and self direction.

How does the '75 percent of their professional efforts' work? I assume it's an intention thing vs. specific metrics. Is it also tied to what those efforts are? If Roth became a sandwich influencer, I assume that's not relevant to his Defector gig and efforts towards the greater Defector good.
