It’s a pitfall of the human brain, unfortunately. Humans take advantage of this innate susceptibility all the time, and it can affect anyone who didn’t happen to totally reject the entire plausibility of a con and walk away from it at first contact.

I can buy that my wry observation is not “true” irony (Although it’s very easy to link up with the self-contained ironic situation where a computational device can be programmed to be unable to perform mathematics) but it has nothing to do with my knowledge of machine learning and generative AI lmao
