With all the stuff I'm seeing about Claude Code deleting directories and files, I'm convinced that installing a coding agent is the computing equivalent of inviting a demon into your house.
Im surprised vibe coding is popular just because of that huge risk.

I have a renewed appreciation for EverSpace 2. Space combat and Freelancer-likes are very uncommon, so it earns points for that right off the bat. But what sells ES2 for me are the tight controls and fun weapons/abilities for the ships. Arguably best in class there.

Having grown up around dogs, I wasn't sure what the fuss was about cats. Sure, I thought they were cute, but I didn't quite get the attraction.

Sometimes I wonder if the affection I have for games that fanbases generally dislike (Dark Souls II, Halo Infinite, etc) colors my gamedev at all.
I get to thinking if I really have a handle on games that engage audiences if that kind of stuff appeals to me...

I just found out that it's possible to install Linux AppImages using a package manager, so they're better integrated with the system and show up in application launchers. I just did that with UZDoom.

I booted up TimeSplitters: Future Perfect today, and I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff there is to do.
Not only do you have the main campaign and the versus mode, but you also have oodles of funny challenge stages and a map editor. And unlockable characters!

One of my best Christmas memories is racing my brother and older cousin in Pokemon Red and Blue at a family gathering.
It wasn't much of a competition, but we did have a good time exchanging tips and sharing what Pokemon we found where.
Can't beat those memories. :)

For most of my adult life, I harbored contempt for China's regime for draconian laws, repressive labor practices, and belligerent foreign policy.
With our current Prez, I can plainly see the US ain't much better, if at all.
Just about everything I know about my country is a lie, and I resent it.
