The two "killer apps" of Daggerheart, for me, are the death moves and the lack of formal initiative.

Had a fun session of Mythic Bastionland last night. We had our first two Knightly deaths, but the company also resolved their first Myth by defeating a stone colossus that had been rampaging through the mountains. This game continues to be so easy to run after some minimal initial prep.

My weekly TTRPG crew is voting for our next game. I gave them 6 options: Daggerheart, Kala Mandala, Mythic Bastionland, Cairn 2E, Cloud Empress, and Pirate Borg. As the GM, I'll be happy with whichever game wins, they are all so good!

I'm a forever GM, but got a rare chance to play in a session of Daggerheart last night (thanks Ben!). Really enjoyed it from the player's side, and look forward to playing more, and potentially running it at some point.
