I think a great many, if not most, would say, "Yes, it needed to be done. just not like that; it seems very disrespectful of sovereignty and generally illegal," (much the way many of us are thinking of what the U.S. has done in Venezuela.

Then we'd return to our regularly scheduled nonsense.

It's a solid red district. It's unlikely even the recent blue wave could overcome it.

And if it does, Speaker Johnson will just put off their swearing in for longer.
