The SNP need to tackle this WM attitude head on & not accept it with a shrug of the shoulders; make it an issue at HR26.
We need WM to recognise there is a democratic deficit in Scotland & ask them, ad infinitum, what is the legal mechanism to gaining an indyref in the UK.

I agree about linking annual mileage to the MOT as that is a legal requirement and it’s outcome (pass/fail) is recorded on a Gov database.
Saying that, it doesn’t answer the question about cost/mile in rural areas; you need to drive further to shop etc & public transport isn’t always a viable option

This situation highlights the breakdown in trust/cooperation between WM/HR.
To be fair, this is a carry over from the Tory years & IMO Labour have not really tried to improve this poor relationship. Why Labour? They have the purse strings/economic levers, they have control & want to show it
