If its the Zeiss Dialyt "rubberised" rainguard they do deteriorate over time (admitted by Zeiss) and if wiped,/cleaned do stain. Ive had quite a few over the years.

Change it Amy, after a few years they deteriorate and become sticky and will stain clothing.

Yes, I still use the zeiss dialyt rainguard on my 8x32 swaros, dont need to do anything, drops back when lifting bins and back on when lowered.
