If an MP (or anyone) makes a claim about overdiagnosis of mental illness, autism or ADHD, please ask them by what authority they think themselves qualified to override the judgements of doctors, psychiatrists & trained clinicians, without having even met any of the people they're talking about.

The sad thing is that email and admin have taken over academic life so much that many of us have to squeeze in the poisoning of minds on evenings and weekends.

Reviewer quoting chatgpt as providing a better clearer definition of a theory than I had provided is a new low. I wouldn't mind but the quote from AI oversimplified the theory to the point of being useless.
