Way more than 7 minutes. I left EFC around 8:20 and we are just pulling into Rosslyn now (at 9:30). So my delay is around an hour and counting

Beat me to it! (But actually 3,000)

If Tesla's technology is better than everyone else's it will find a way to market (Elon's divests, split off the robotaxi, license to other companies, etc.). But it would ofc be a huge assumption that Tesla's technology is going to be that much better than others in the long run (if at all)

all i see is fake gothic crap
March 22, 2025 at 11:21 AM
lol, it’s all about rebelling against *anything* at that age.

Not happening now! So ridiculous a trade that at the time I thot might be outcry for this but nobody gives a bleep about mavs outside of Dallas?

This is not even close. I dunno what happened to him but he seems to have developed some mix of admiration and envy of silicon valley. I was a huge stan for years but now he's off doing something that I don't get at all
February 22, 2025 at 9:26 PM
dunno if someone got paid to do that, but someone at little caesar's was told to make an app and they sorta did and still got to happy hour early
February 22, 2025 at 9:13 PM
i mean, what else could the little caesar's app be except exactly this. love it.

This is true on average but easy to conflate with other things. For example the same person with the same inherent risk aversion might take the tech job when he’s single and a govt job when he has kids

What are the odds Adam Silver blocks this trade or at least forces Lakers to add all available draft picks?

Smart people often enjoy the challenge itself and hell is having no challenges

I realize I'm taking things too literally here!
January 17, 2025 at 8:40 PM
Pretty sure Justin was serious. I mean, the odds of 3% growth (starting with such low unemployment) are low enough that I'd put a big chunk of my net worth down if someone would take the other side (close to zero chance Bessent takes the other side, I'd guess)

Not everyone has a billion dollars lying around
January 17, 2025 at 7:09 PM
Forget one vs two bills, how does Johnson pass literally *any* bill with this margin? I am honestly asking
January 15, 2025 at 2:54 AM
Maybe buy stuff early if you were going to buy it anyway, but otherwise this is an impossible guessing game. You’re more likely to overspend on stuff you might never buy than to save money. This post could age poorly tho

Have to believe this was a joke

(It’s funny either way)

Dark chocolate covered almonds
January 13, 2025 at 6:31 PM
You are underestimating the remaining last chances by at least 1,000
January 13, 2025 at 1:52 AM
Not gonna lie, I would def click on that
