Remembering the legendary Johnny Lyons, 10 years gone on this day. A lot of us were fortunate to have had the privilege of experiencing his humanity, individuality, humour, kindness and friendship. Much loved by so many. I miss him greatly. Rock and Roll. 🤘🏻 ⚽️🎸🧡

The Masters had become the white whale for Rory McIlroy, Moby Dick. Now captured. A lot of us have something like that in our lives. I am delighted for him, and it’s not even an Irish thing. I imagine he will feel a wonder at being on the other side.
