This nasty move is in line with #Carney's general approach. He is primarily concerned with profits and sees this as a gesture that may placate Trump to a degree and that will also avoid complications and possible restrictions when it comes to the diversification of trade.

If you're going to try and use the courts to advance your objectives (even rotten ones like the defence of #genocide) it's a good idea to have some half-serious legal basis for doing so.

A champion of genocide (and an Obama speechwriter) reluctantly acknowledges that many Jewish students may not share her readiness to dehumanize the #Palestinians. The only option, in her view, is to insulate them from the horror that is being inflicted on #Gaza.
