Thanks Ian. I do get to go home on Wednesday which will certainly be a huge boost. Looking forward to being with my family, my cat and my tunes. And decent coffee and food. Actually there are way too many things to list. :)))

Totally understandable to not want to wait. The whole process appears to be designed to get the most ADHD people to drop out. Those forms!

My family member had to wait 3 and a half years. But the eventual diagnosis really helped - as they were able to then get medication (amphetamines) which enabled them to study. Study had been impossible for them to focus on before.

Thank you, Sarah. I'm hoping to get away for a week soon. It's booked and paid for - but I now have some profound mobility issues that I did not have at the time of booking - so will need to assess what's realistic.
