I think she was referencing trans men as well, as the rulings cover them. The only people no-one metions are cis men, and I do understand why, the issues are around women and trans people.

Would anyone for one moment belueve thats real! 🤯What worries me is the number of people who would.😟

Things like this require legislation. Paying more doesn't work as the people who buy them are convinced the "need" the extra space (that isnt there). They need banning.

Is the issue specifically ebay related? This has general advice on posting framed pictures www.wikihow.com/Mail-Artwork

I have purchased framed prints in the past and small ones have come with glass, but larger ones have had acrylic instead. Lighter and doesnt break.
How to Mail Artwork: Sending Paintings, Prints, & More
So you sold artwork or want to send a piece of art to someone, but how can you make sure it arrives in perfect condition? No matter what type of art you're sending out, it's really easy to pack up you...

Surely, the same argument applies to the existence of both the Tory Party and the leader of the opposition. Both are arguably unchristian according to her logic. 🤔😕

You seem to be curiously angry about this. My point was about repeat petitions being a poor way to judge public sentiment, regardless of the topic. I have no horse in the 20mph race
November 26, 2025 at 9:33 PM
You assumed my comment was specifically related to the 20mph speed limit, which I know precisely zero about.
It wasn't.
It was a general comment about data, surveys, and trust in democracy.

This needs thinking about. If people had already signed one petition and nothing happened, then they would be less likely to sign another. Also, when it's in the news, the petition would have achieved wider notice. The second doesn't invalidate the first unless the same people were asked.

I saw one once so low I thought the noise was a diesel train. Then it appeared over the trees. Swear I could see the whites of the pilots eyes!

I said it elsewhere, whoever chose that song for that scene deserves a medal. It was in my opinion the best bit of the film series. It had such (unexpected) emotional depth. Its a song and a scene about loss, hence why not the best choice for a wedding.
November 24, 2025 at 8:01 AM
Hmmm, not if you had ever actually listened to it. Yes, it has a certain haunting beauty, but we all love songs that we would never play at a wedding.
November 23, 2025 at 8:32 AM
To be fair to the song, I found it through Harry Potter, the song is the best bit of the entire franchise, who ever chose it deserves a medal. I'll never outgrow the song, but I was always too old for HP

Because its not really about the holocaust... its about the loss of innocence, of the children but also society. The "train" is redemption, not taking them to the gulag - which were Russian anyway. But its not a song anyone would ever choose for a wedding, its deeply sad.
