We have no taxis. It causes enormous amounts of confusion for tourists who have to rely on the kindness of strangers to get them to the next town. Hubby has rescued a few. They catch the steam train and miss the last trip back and get stuck 20kms from their car with no public transport......

Grandma's down to 4 of her 8 children. And 2 of the living have had cancer as well. She is as hale and hearty a 100 year old can be. It'll be great to see her and all my cousins and the wider family. There's a lot of us.

In one month, I get to go to my Grandma's 100th birthday party. I'm 53 and I'm not the eldest grandchild. If Dad hadn't been taken by pancreatic cancer in 2012, he would have just turned 75.

They would be contractors working for a company that your neighbours paid for the work to be done. Are there compulsory industry safety standards to follow? Is there an organisation that oversees workplace safety? The lack of safety equipment is most likely because it's not been provided by employer

A pneumatic drill! Painful for them and for you. I don't know if there's much you could do unless there are workplace safety inspectors. You could make a complaint.

It causes a rare type of lung cancer. We get to hear about it because there is so much DIY home renovations in Australia and so many warnings about things in houses that can cause long term harm.
