At least in Germany, immigration is felt a lot more directly by people with lower income living in poorer neighbourhoods. For them it‘s very difficult to position themselves in a highly polarized debate.

A colleague of mine is working on defining "control" in AVH. She argues that different psychologists use the concept of "control" in very different ways, which explains their seemingly contradictory findings. Maybe not phil of sci, but it seems to be a good example of philosophy guiding science.

I've had good experiences with Synthese regarding unconventional/interdisciplinary papers. Also Philosophy of AI might be a good option. It's not high-ranking (as it's very new) but its OA. @philosophyofai.bsky.social
