Great turnout for Chicago’s Hands Off protest! Got the sense there were a lot of people there who had not attended a protest before. Interesting to see the range of issues being raised as we walked along.

Lovely day at the Art Institute of Chicago seeing three shows. First, Paula Modersohn Becker (Farmer's Wife, Seated, 1899 and Girl in a Red Dress with a Birch Tree Trunk, 1905). Second, the magnificent weaving of Passamaquoddy artist James Frey (Watchful Spirit, 2022).
